Plot
Garfield discovers that he is a comic strip character and begins to question the nature of his existence. When the cartoonist stops drawing him, Garfield realizes he is fading from existence. He must find a way to get back into the comic strip and convince the cartoonist to keep drawing him.
Production
This film was the first fully CGI Garfield production for television. It introduced new animation techniques and allowed for more creative storytelling than the previous live-action films.
